Graphic design is our business. Creativity is our passion. Payne Design Group excels at producing inspired print design. We've been
located in Central Virginia for over 13 years and we received design
awards in the American Marketing Association's annual competition in
1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007. Creative Director
Susan Payne and Managing Partner John Payne have more
than forty years of combined experience providing graphic design
solutions to international and domestic clients. Susan, with a Master of
Science in Communications Design from Pratt Institute of New York City,
has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies when she was a design
director for one of the largest brand identity firms in Manhattan. John
earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Ithaca College.
Our smaller size allows us to personalize our service which is crucial
to the client/designer relationship. Payne Design Group is not the
largest studio in the area, and we don't intend to be. We just want to
be the best. Nor do we consider ourselves a jack of all trades (and a
master of none). We pride ourselves on knowing print design. We know how
to get ink on paper and make it look great. After all, with a printed
design, you can't go back and tweak the code if something is wrong.
